Complementary food intended to help dogs suffering from anxiety or phobias.

Composition :

Passiflora incarnata, dry flower extract 70 mg

This extract has long been known for its ability to relax and reduce tension. Biochemical studies show that natural flavonoids are a key active ingredient and that Passionflower enhances the effectiveness of the brain’s GABA receptors that aid in relaxation. Gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) is a primary inhibitory neurotransmitter in the central nervous system that reduces the amount of nerve cell activity – which has a calming and relaxing effect. Essentially Passionflower also has properties that prevent vital neurotransmitters (dopamine, norepinephrine, serotonin) from breaking down, which increases their levels in the body and results in improved mood and temperament.

Chamomilla recutita, dry flower extract 70 mg

Chamomile has been used as a traditional medicine for thousands of years to calm anxiety and calm the stomach. Chamomile contains apigenin, a flavonoid with anxiolytic properties. Chamomile also has muscle relaxant, anti-inflammatory and antispasmodic properties. Due to these properties, chamomile can provide relief from various common disorders of small animals and can be used as a sedative.

Valeriana officinalis, dry root extract 30 mg Valerian root is best known for its sedative properties and is used to relieve stress, insomnia and anxiety, control seizures and support relaxation. Valerian root is believed to work through GABA receptors, which blocks nerve transmissions between neurons that stimulate activity.

L – Tryptophan 20 mg Tryptophan (Trp) is an essential dietary amino acid that supports the regulation of mood and behavior in mammalian species through its role in the serotonergic pathway. When excess L-Trp is provided in the diet and is not used for protein synthesis, it can be used as a therapeutic supplement. Currently used in domestic animals, L-Trp is the main precursor of serotonin that has a calming effect, such as on pain sensitivity and aggressive behaviors. Tryptophan has been used to reduce aggression and impulsivity in dogs and cats. It also has stabilizing and calming effects.

Melatonin 1 mg Melatonin is a natural hormone in the body of both animals and humans. It is secreted by the pineal gland. As a supplement, it can help us and our dogs relax, fight stress and sleep. It can also help with certain medical conditions. You should always speak with your veterinarian before introducing new medications or supplements to your pet’s health care regimen.
