Composition : D-Mannose powder D-mannose is a natural simple sugar that appears to be a safe, practical alternative for the treatment of UTIs caused by E. coli and other related bacteria (Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, Proteus , Klebsiella spp.). D-mannose is absorbed eight times slower than glucose and when it is absorbed, it is not converted to glycogen or stored in the liver but appears to go directly into the blood. Therefore, D-Mannose is mainly filtered in the kidneys and taken to the bladder. The bladder wall is made up of polysaccharide molecules. Ring-like protrusions on the cell surface of E. Coli bacteria attach to these molecules, causing infection. In the presence of D-Mannose, E.coli preferentially adheres to the D-Mannose molecules forming a complex which is expelled with subsequent emptying.

Addition : Anti-corrosion agent up to 1%

Dosage :

Acute infection : 1 measuring spoon daily, for 5 days

Maintenance : 1/2 measuring spoon daily, for 20 days

The prescribed doses of VETAMANNOSE powder should be mixed and administered with water.
